Because there is no metal mounting strip along the body, this area won't suffer rust damage anymore. This is a solution for those who are fed up with the metal mounting strip. Sold on the exact measure, for the front hood as well as the rear hood. On the upper piece of the front hood (parallel with the windshield glass) the metal mounting strip is still used on the upper side of the hood seal, which we have in the original German quality (#0705-2).
